# Crain's Names Button #2 Best Place to Work in NYC!

It's been an exciting year here at Button, taking home one of [Inc. magazine's top 50 Best Workplaces in the US](https://www.inc.com/profile/button) as well as [Fortune's Best Places to Work](http://fortune.com/best-small-workplaces/button-11/) (in the US _and_ NYC). And today, we're thrilled that Crain's announced Button as the [#2 Best Place to Work in NYC](http://www.crainsnewyork.com/section/bestplaces/2017)— making it the third year in a row we've been featured on the prestigious list ( _fun fact: we've been included on their list every year since we were founded_)!

Button was built on the foundation of supporting our employees, [creating a culture](/content/company/culture/index.html) of we're proud of. From our quarterly retreats, our Nourish speaker series (learning from the best out there), diversity and Pride events, weekly Town Hall sessions, and so much more— we pride ourselves in working hard, celebrating as a team, and helping each other grow professionally and personally.

Not only were we considered one of the best places to work across the US, but 2017 made for many exciting milestones at Button. We started off the year with a bang in announcing our [Series B $20 million](https://techcrunch.com/2017/01/25/button-the-marketplace-for-app-integrations-lands-20-million-in-series-b-funding/) funding round; built out our investment in [building a diverse workplace](https://blog.usebutton.com/making-big-investments-in-diversity-at-a-small-company-c9405ad7078b); grew our Marketplace to include _many_ of the world's largest brands, including Walmart, eBay, The Weather Channel, Buzzfeed, LivingSocial, and more (we now host 9 out of 10 largest e-commerce retailers on our platform!); and most recently saw [incredible performance](https://blog.usebutton.com/the-age-of-apps-cyber-monday-black-friday-in-2017-54fbc1f077a9) during the year's biggest shopping holiday: Black Friday & Cyber Monday. And that's just the tip of the iceberg!
